It was nice to talk to parents and to see what’s going on in the school. It was nice to hear stories of my grandson in school and the relationships he has with the staff.

Great to know what is planned ahead of time and what support and opportunities are available to my son. It was nice to talk with other parents too and if there are anymore meetings in the future, I would definitely make time to attend them.

The wellbeing meeting was very helpful and informative. It was nice to meet other parents too and hear their views on a variety of topics. My mum enjoyed it to and found it beneficial for there to be a space for parents to meet.  I like to attend the parental meetings; the staff are very supportive.

I love so many things about Coombswood School, especially going on school trips! They’re always so much fun, and I get to learn new things outside the classroom. My favourite trip was to the RAF Cosford – we got to see so many real aeroplanes! I also like spending time with my friends and teachers while we explore new places. I wish we could go on school trips every week!

I joined Coombswood School in Year 7. We have had so many amazing lessons. The teachers making learning interesting, like in Lifeskills we were able to raise money for charity. We get to experience the outdoor world, my class attend swimming sessions, I had not been swimming before coming to Coombswood School.

I love going to school every day! My teachers are really nice and make learning fun. I get to see my friends, we play at play time, we can go outside and play or stay in. I especially like cooking and art! School is the best!

Coombswood School is absolutely amazing, my son has come on so much since he started

I am very happy with Coombswood School, my son went to many different schools before attending Coombswood School, he really struggled to settle down. However, he now attends Coombswood and is very settled. He enjoys getting up early in the morning, getting himself ready for school, he has grown massively in his independence skills. We used to struggle to get him to school before, but now he is ready before we are. Coombswood School accepted my son, he can be himself, rather than masking. He is thriving at Coombswood School.

Since being at Coombswood School, my son is doing ever so well, he is with other children, he is now in a class with other children too. He really enjoys going to school. He now has confidence that he can become something, he now has aspirations for the future.

The whole team is great and communication and support is excellent!
