Supporting Amelia’s Birthday Card Appeal
Learners and staff at Coombswood School came together to support a heartfelt community initiative, taking part in a birthday card appeal for a local child, Amelia.
Amelia, who is bravely fighting Neuroblastoma, has a special wish to receive 8,000 birthday cards by her next birthday. The Coombswood community responded with kindness and compassion, creating and sending thoughtful cards to help Amelia reach her goal.
Charlotte Alton, Principal of Coombswood School, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our learners and staff for showing such kindness and empathy in supporting Amelia’s birthday wish. Taking part in initiatives like this helps our learners understand the importance of compassion and community.”
