Promoting Belonging for Children’s Mental Health Week
Coombswood School marked Children’s Mental Health Week 2026 with a creative and meaningful activity centred around the theme of ‘belonging’.
Learners took part in writing messages of positivity on balloons, which were then used to create a vibrant balloon arch displayed at the school entrance. The installation served as a powerful visual reminder of the importance of inclusion, connection and emotional wellbeing within the school community.
Charlotte Alton, Principal of Coombswood School, said:
