Coombswood Learners Discover the Joy of Caring for Animals

On 25th October 2024, Coombswood School welcomed a special visitor known as the Animal Man, who brought an array of fascinating creatures for the learners to meet. The event highlighted the importance of caring for animals and provided a hands-on experience with some extraordinary species.

Learners were thrilled to interact with a variety of animals, including geckos, bearded dragons, an owl, a skunk, and even a scorpion. The event sparked curiosity and provided a memorable opportunity to learn about animal behaviour, habitats, and proper care.

Principal Snita Verma expressed her excitement about the event:

“Experiences like these help our learners develop a sense of responsibility and compassion for all living things. Seeing their enthusiasm and interest in these animals was truly heartwarming.”

The visit from the Animal Man was a fantastic way to combine fun with education, reinforcing Coombswood’s commitment to hands-on, engaging learning experiences.
